CYCI #139Sunday, fun day πŸ˜‰
We have a new challenge over at the Can you Case it blog, this it’s all about rainbow colors πŸ˜€

But how do you integrate a rainbow into a north pole card?! I really wanted to use the new Snow Cool Lawn Fawn set and decided to add a rainbow colored background, so it looks like northern lights. Well, with a lot of fantasy it does πŸ˜›

I started by die cutting two Lawn Fawn papers with a scalloped border die. Then I added a tree border to the green paper using the Lawn Fawn Forest Border. Then I stamped the snow flakes from the set using Versamark ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

Now I stamped the penguins, snow penguin and the iglu onto some scrap paper. I also stamped the sentiment “There’s Snow Place Like Home” directly on to the background. I colored the images with Copic markers, cut them using my Scan’n’Cut and adhered everything together. Finally, I adhered the entire panel onto the rainbow colored background πŸ˜›
