Let your dreams take flight art journal page with So Suzy Stamps

Oooph, this is not an easy post for me. It’s my last design team post for So Suzy Stamps. The reason is that my actual work needs a little more attention going forward (all good things!!!) and you might have already noticed that I was quieter than usual the last few weeks. Thanks to all of you who send me a message and asked if I’m alright πŸ™‚ –> That’s why I love the crafty community so much! The good thing is that I will continue using stamps from my favorite stamp company, I just won’t share my projects on …

Celebrating all seasons with So Suzy Stamps

Hi everyone, don’t you love when you can just play? Crafting is my stress relief and my favorite part about crafting is when I can just let loose and let my imagination take over. No thinking about how to align things or which supply to use… just grabbing things randomly and playing with it πŸ™‚ This is how these cards came together. I just started playing with these water color powders and created several backgrounds. I mixed always two colors together, sprinkled a little powder onto my new hot press water color paper (which I fell in love with!)… … …

So Suzy Stamps water color inspiration

So Suzy Stamps Watercolor Inspiration

It’s the time of the month – design team inspiration, yay πŸ™‚ The design team came together and created some really beautiful cards – most of them with the latest release. But I realized that I haven’t used the tulips from the release before yet, so I wanted to put them into a water color design. I started by creating a mask for the bouquet, because I wanted to stamp it a couple of times to the bottom part of my card. Then I stamped the first bouquet, heat set it with clear embossing powder and then covered it with …

Snarktoberfest Halloween snark with So Suzy Stamps

halloween snark wit So Suzy Stamps

Yes! Halloween is right around the corner and I can’t wait. Thanks to yesterday’s Friday the 13th I’m in a scary mood, so I had to create some spooky cards! And because I’m still celebrating Snarktoberfest, I had to be Halloween snark πŸ˜‰ Do you know the situation – you see something that you like and would love to try, but you can’t get it or have to pay horrendous shipping fees? I had that situation with the Paper Artsy products. Thankfully the wait is over, because I finally found them here in the US. Of course, I had to …

Snarktoberfest 2017 Blog Hop – Join us for a month long party

Snarktoberfest 2017

Last year was the first time I celebrated Snarktoberfest with all of you. Throughout 2017 I realized that there are so many amazing and talented people out there with an incredible sense of humor (black, just like mine), so I decided to ask a few of them if they would be interested in joining me for this years’ celebration – and they all said yes… Can you believe that??? I was blown away (and still am…)! After literally everyone I asked said yes, I realized that I have to come up with an even bigger party as I originally planned …

Customized 3-tier Halloween cupcake stand

Halloween cupcake stand

Hi everyone, I’m so glad to share my second guest design team post for Deflecto with you. Today I want to share my Halloween cupcake stand and it’s going to be yummy! I’m using the 3-Tier Dessert Stand as the base and the Mini Sign Holders in two different sizes (2×3 and 3×4) for parts of the decoration. I started with decorating the 3 levels of the 3-Tier Dessert Stand using Mod Podge and tissue paper. Thankfully I had the right Halloween colors laying around. I simply spread out the Mod Podge on the base using a simple brush and …

Simple Christmas card using Distress Oxide and So Suzy Stamps

Simple Christmas card with Distress Oxide and So Suzy Stamps

Welcome to a new design team inspiration over at the So Suzy Stamps blog. The team prepared some amazing cards using the latest Christmas release. I tried myself on a simple Christmas card using Distress Oxide and the interesting part is that I used them to color on black cardstock. But from the beginning… It took me a few tries to figure out how to color this Poinsettia without ruining the white lines from the embossing powder. The problem was that I was able to color over the lines and remove the ink from the embossed areas, but it also …
