Hi everyone and welcome to a new CYCI challenge πŸ™‚ This week it’s all about shaker cards, or when you just don’t want to deal with all the shakers, a faux shaker card. For this shaker card challenge, I decided to go with the fake version. I started by cutting the hill pieces with the new Lawn Fawn dies. For the hill and the tree parts I used the also new Lawn Fawn fall paper. I adhered everything together and ran it through my big shot using a scalloped frame die. I stamped the fox, the leaves and the squirrel, …

Ants in your pants Shaker Card

Ants shaker card

We had a major ant outbreak at work today. Ants everywhere… Yak! Normally I don’t care about them, but working while they are crawling over you and your desk? Nope! That’s why I needed to work through my traumatic experience and created an ants in your pants shaker card. I used the “Happy Summer” stamp set from Lawn Fawn and stamped and die cut hundreds of ants (okay, perhaps 20). I also stamped the water melon and colored it with Copics and added some Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents. While that was drying, I stamped, colored, and cut some …

Snow Globe Shaker Card from the North Pole

PolarBear

Because I have bought so many stamp sets during the last weeks, I wanted to make sure that I’m starting to use them. To remember which ones I’ve already stamped with and which ones still have to be used I separated my stamps into two stashes. And today I picked the ‘Cool Day’ Polar Bears from MFT to switch them from the ‘unused’ to the ‘used’ stash. The Layout idea is from the current MFT Sketch Challenge #241 and to be honest, I had a hard time with this one. Snow Globe Process First of all I stamped and colored …
