I was in the mood for some Distress Oxide fun, so I grabbed three tags and started coloring them in. My favorite technique is ink smooshing. For that I used three colors of Distress Oxide from the same color family and smooshed one after another onto my craft mat. Welcome to a new Creative Squad post. Last month’s topic over at the n*studio blog was “each day is a new adventure” and we were trying new techniques. For me that meant experimenting with spray paint. I got a few sample sizes during a shopping spree at a local art supply store and never had the courage to try it. Last month’s theme over at Nathalie’s blog was Colors are my Friend and I created a floral page for my art journal using her foam stamps. Colors are my friends, definitely! My favorite one depends on my mood, but usually I tend to pick orange or green tones. Today I wanted to use my favorite color combination though, which is orange and blue.
