Video: So Suzy Special – Snowflakes are Kisses from Heaven

Snowflakes are Kisses from Heaven

Brrr, winter…Even though I’m living in California I need my warmer temperatures back. The only good thing about winter is snow (some might disagree with me), especially when you didn’t have snow for 3 years now. Good that So Suzy has such cute winter sentiments like this one: “Snowflakes are kisses from heaven.” *squeeee* I just recently made a trip to IKEA (needed some craft furniture πŸ˜› ) and I also brought some napkins home. Because these had snowflakes on them I thought that they would fit really good to the sentiment, so I created a mixed media style card …

Snarkfest 2017 – Second Chance Art Journal Page

Snarkfest Art Journal

Man, I haven’t shared an art journal page in forever. Shame on me! Good that we have Snarkfest going on in the Snarky Stamper Facebook group and I was in the mood for some fun. And fun always includes smearing around with paints and a snarky sentiment. In this case the “Second Chance” sentiment from So Suzy Stamps πŸ˜‰ I started by painting three different Dylusions paint onto the background, Postbox Red, Squeezed Orange, Pure Sunshine. The easiest and fastest way is by using a baby wipe and to avoid fuzzy paper with this technique, it’s best to Gesso it …

What is better for the Blowing Snowflake feature from So Suzy Stamps than being a little messy πŸ˜› In case of describing all the steps, I decided to film the process. I couldn’t explain most decisions I …

Spooky Halloween Art Journal Page

Spooky Halloween

Welcome back to my blog πŸ™‚ The last week was a little hectic at work (yay!!! It was way to boring before that πŸ˜› ), so I just had a little time to craft every evening. I tried a lot of things, sprayed some ink here and smeared some paint there and at the end, this is what it looked like. So, I’m sorry for the lack of instructions this time …

Crazy Dog on a Rusty Steampunk Tag

rusty steampunk tag

Are you following me on Instagram or Facebook? There you might have seen the results of all the rusting that I did using the Prima Marketing Finnabair rusting paste. Some of the die cuts were the Tim Holtz gears that I now wanted to use to create a rusty steampunk tag. I started by trying one of the techniques Tim Holtz explains in his Creative Chemistry online course. I can’t remember the name anymore. It was the one where he painted the tag in some colors and added one of the metallic distress paints on top. Even though I didn’t …
