Hi, I’m glad you’re here! Today I wanted to share a product with you that I had in my stash for a while, but haven’t used as much as I should have. Don’t we all have these types of products at home?! Mixed Media meets elegant card making πŸ˜› And you are really lucky, because today starts the Black Friday sale (Information are in the banner on top) at the katscrappiness.com store, so …

Video: How to Use Sentiment Dies for a Die Cut Pattern

Christmas Card with Die Cut Pattern

Welcome to a new blog article for the Kat Scrappiness blog. Today I’m using one of the new sentiment dies to create a die cut pattern for a Christmas card. This simple technique will create two Christmas cards at a time and it won’t take too long either. I used the “Ho! Ho! Ho!” sentiment from Kat Scrappiness to create a neat background pattern for my Christmas cards. I wanted to work with the classic Christmas colors, so I grabbed some red card stock that I had left over from an older, random card kit. But enough words, here is …

Stretch Your Dies And Add A Ghost

the card

Hello everyone! I’m up at the Kat Scrappiness blog with another Halloween card. To change things up a little, I used a non-Halloween sentiment to show you how you could stretch your dies too πŸ™‚ I started by die-cutting the white background piece and some black card stock with Kat’s rope die and added the Lawn Fawn house border to the black piece. Now I die-cut a mask for the moon and adhered it to the white background piece. I blended Wilted Violet and Seedless Preserves Distress Ink back and forth till I had the coverage that I wanted. After …

Then I distressed the tree pieces with Mowed Lawn Distress ink and the stump with Ground Espresso. Now I …
