Joining the Coffee Lover Winter Blog Hop

winter coffee lover blog hop

Wow, it’s already Winter. Time for cute Christmas decoration, Peppermint Lattes, delicious chocolate and some snow (well, not for me). And to celebrate the upcoming cozy season I’m joining the Coffee Lover Winter Blog Hop with this fun Christmas card. I started by die-cutting a bunch of pieces from white card stock and the background from this amazing paper pack from Carta Bella. I just love the plaid paper in there! Red and gold always look gorgeous together, so I used the Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Golden Crystal for the snowflake pattern. The Nuvo paste dries rather quickly, maybe 30 …

Shimmerz Paints Texturez & Dazzlerz

If you follow me on Instagram you have probably seen that I bought some of the Shimmerz Paints texture pastes called Dazzlerz and Texturez. For me they are a new company and I wanted to share my first impression with you. To show how they compare to Dreamweaver texture paste, I created the following video. The video is a little longer. If you just want to see the …

Little B. Washi Coloring

I was following a lot of Periscopes about the CHA Megashow 2016 and I thought that it is actually really fun, because you are able to see all the new stuff from the first row. My second article in the series Periscope Review of CHA 2016 is talking about several color mediums (besides the Distress Crayons). I try to focus on those I would be interested in, so I probably don’t talk about everything that was introduced. If you would like to start at the beginning, here is my article about the new Tim Holtz products. Copic Copic introduced a …

Can Winter be Over Already?

Can winter be over already

Happy New Year everyone! I’m sorry that I didn’t write anything the last weeks, but my hubby and I were busy moving. We bought a house at the end of the year and after a long, stressful journey with the bank we finally moved on December 23rd. You can imagine that our Christmas was filled with unpacking and getting everything setup. But I’m back and my New Years resolution is to be more crafty πŸ™‚ I have no idea how to proof at the end that I was, but just lets get started with my first card for 2016. Who …

Christmas Card with detailed Ornament

Christmas Card with Ornament

Today is the last day to participate at the Simon Wednesday Challenge ‘Wrap it up’ and I wanted to register this Christmas card before it is too late. That’s why I have a second article on my blog today. I recently purchased one of the new Mama Elephant Christmas sets, Twinkle Towns and had this design in my head as soon as I saw the release notes. First I stamped the ornament with the dreamy little village in the mountains. I colored everything with Copic markers (what a struggle…), cut it out, and added Wink of Stella to the snow …
