I’m Stuck On You – Lawn Fawn in Water Colors

As you might have seen in my latest posts, I am in a water color mood. So I was going through my stamps and was trying to find a different set that could be used with water colors. It just took a few flips through my stash to find this Lawn Fawn set. I started with stamping the two cactus (cacti? cactuses?) on watercolor paper. Next I stamped the sentiment using Versamark ink and heat embossed it with silver Wow embossing powder. It’s the most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Just recently I ordered the most adorable MFT Christmas stamp set Merry Christmoose. Isn’t that moose just cute? So I had to create a card the is perfect for the most wonderful time of the year. I started with preparing the background. I cut out a piece of light blue cardstock that I got with one of my Simon Says Card Kits. I used the sentiment from MFT’s Trim the Tree set and stamped with Cornflower. Before I started with the snowflakes, I masked the sentiment with some post it tape.
