Floral times 3 or how to create 3 cards using one background stamp

The Ton background stamp colored with Distress Oxide and Inks

Hi everyone and happy Thursday! Today’s project was inspired by my little grab bag that is sitting on my craft table. You might wonder what that grab bag is… Well, it’s actually a box now and it contains all the goodies that I have bought during the last months (yes, months…) and haven’t really used yet. So I decided to pick the sunflower background stamp from the Ton and get it all inky (like literally). I ended up with three floral cards, all a little different. I created all three at the same time and started with stamping the image …

So Suzy Stamps and Distress Oxide - Snarky is part of the package

Have you seen the new release from So Suzy Stamps yet? There are a few snarky stamps as well and you know me – I can’t resist some good snark. I paired the new Snarky is part of the Package stamp with the rose and rose trio from an earlier release, but see for yourself. I hope you’re not sick of me using the Distress Oxide, because there is another card coming πŸ˜‰ This time, I used them to color the roses in two different ways. The outside of the card with the ink resist technique and the inside by …

A whole bunch of foolishness

Foolishness

Post number 3 for today πŸ˜› At Creativation I met the a bunch of the old and new So Suzy Stamps design team. We had a blast during these 5 days. One of the ladies, Kymona, always used to say “Foolishness” to our joking around. It was hilarious. Suzanne organized a stamp matching her little verbal outburst and we wanted to surprise her with a few cards using it. You can find the others here: Justine Suzanne Jennifer My “foolishness” is mixing some stamps together that I usually wouldn’t. Some elegant ones and some cute ones. I started with stamping …

How to create leaves on vellum with So Suzy Stamps

So Suzy Stamps Leaves on vellum

I’m still in aaaw with Olesya’s amazing designs. She’s so creative and it’s great to be able to play with her art. Today I used her Open Leaves design to create leaves on vellum. Normally I use orange and red colors, but this time I forced myself to a different combination πŸ˜› I used the Ranger blending tool and went back and forth with the different colors till they looked nice and blended. Then I die cut the piece with a stitched rectangle die and splattered some water and some sparkle …
