For your birthday I wish you that your dreams come true and all your plans work out. I wish you a humongous cake with Henry Cavill jumping out of it. I’m sending a huge hug, just for you with a little note on it, saying “stay …

A Birthday Card For A Special Friend – CYCI #133

MFT Dragons

Hello and welcome to a new and really fun color challenge over at Can You Case It?. I love this color combo so much that I used it to create a birthday card for a special friend of mine. She already received the card, so I’m not spoiling anything πŸ˜‰ I used the new MFT stamp set “Magical Dragon” that just came out and colored three of the dragons with Copic markers. Then I let my Scan’n’Cut do all the fuzzy cutting work πŸ˜› I took an A2 sized piece of card stock and used the new Peek-a-Boo die to …

All the glitter 2

Hello everyone and welcome to another amazing challenge over at the Can You Case It! blog for challenge #130. This week it’s all about birthday card and mine had to glitter! I started with going through my stash of embossing powders and finding all the glitter ones. Surprisingly I have a few. I chose a golden one and matching to it a purple with gold splatters in it. Now I stamped the music note background onto my white card stock using Versamark ink. I found this background stamp at a garage sale and assume it’s the one from MFT. Then …

Die Cut Inlay With the Stamp of Approval

In my last video and blog article I unboxed the latest Stamp of Approval collection. Today I wanted to share the card with you that I created based on an idea that I had during the unboxing. This video showcases the arrow die from the Lovely Notes collection and how to use it for a die cut inlay technique. Besides dies and stamps from the collection itself, I used some sequins from Kat Scrappiness, Nuvo drops and the Lawn Fawn stitched square die. All supplies are listed at the end of the article. I hope you feel inspired after watching …

You’re How Old – Snarky Bird Crazy Card

Bird Crazy

Just jumping in to share a card with you. I found the idea for the bird crazy card on Pinterest and had to CASE it. I started with stamping the bird onto Ranger water color card stock. I grabbed some of my Zig markers in blue and yellow tones and colored the bird, but I didn’t cover the entire bird with the markers. To give it the water color look, I used a water color brush (one of those with a water tank) and blended all colors together and onto the white areas. Then I drew with the marker directly …

Second Card

I’m back from my vacation in Germany and survived the cold and the flight back. Woohoo for me πŸ™‚ Dog-Gone Awesome Shaker Card While I was still in Germany MFT released some very cute dog stamps that I had to have. Mainly because one of the dogs looks like my Freedom. That’s why I had to use that particular dog on my card (even though my dog is not entirely brown) and create a dog-gone awesome shaker card with it. Here is the video for you: Please excuse the messy Copic coloring. These brown tones always bleed a little more …

Stunning Water Colored Backgrounds

And it’s again a week without a post, I’m sorry! My excuse this time? The cold! This nasty thing got me on Monday and kind of knocked me out. Anyway, I’m back and I prepared a video for you. All 6 cards

I know, I know… I made so many cards using the Stamp of Approval already, but I like this collection so much that I had to create a couple more. I can’t even… πŸ™‚ For the first four cards I used a scrap piece of white card stock and blended Squeezed Lemonade and Abandoned Coral all over it. Now I die cut four pieces of cake out of them. For the first two cards I also die cut another two pieces of …
