There was just so much to do at my actual work (the one that pays for my hobby πŸ˜‰ ) and I didn’t have any time to do something crafty. Sometimes I wish I would do more research on things. I’m a little mad at myself, because I kind of ruined my art journal page. All started out good. I added some Hickory Smoke Distress Ink through a Faber Castell stencil. Then I used a lilac and an orange Gelato and blended the colors on top. Because I had some scraps with acrylic paint splatters laying around, I arranged them on the top right and bottom left of the page. Under The Sea Art Journal Page

This Under The Sea art journal page was a work in progress for quite some time. I had the background done while first testing my new Art-C metallic paints, added the mermaid a few days later and finally found the perfect paper to go with it during National Scrapbook Day last weekend. But let’s start at the beginning. As I said the background is painted with Art-C metallic paint in teal and the cloudy area is from their Ultra Chalk paint in white.
