Catherine Pooler blog hop day 2 – squared foiling

Facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditpinterestmail

It’s day two of the Catherine Pooler release blog hop. Have you seen all the amazing projects from day one yet? They are amazing! The second day doesn’t need to hide though ๐Ÿ˜‰

My cards for today are a mix of elegance and grunge. I love working with stencils and the new one is awesome. That’s why I wanted to highlight the pattern. I decided to foil the pattern, so I spread the Transfer Gel through the stencil. The first one is covered entirely, the second one just a little bit, because I wanted to create a grungy foil look.

This had to dry for a few hours. Once it was dry, I picked two foil designs and ran it through my Minc machine. At the end, I added a heat embossed two sentiment on the new vellum paper from Catherine Pooler and adhered that onto the card.

The second project for today is made out of leftover prints from yesterday’s mono printing project. (You can check out my cards for day one of the blog hop here.) I die cut it with the tag die and simply stamped sentiment on top.
