Spooky Halloween

Welcome back to my blog πŸ™‚

The last week was a little hectic at work (yay!!! It was way to boring before that πŸ˜› ), so I just had a little time to craft every evening. That was perfect for this page as several things needed to dry over night. It’s a little harder for me to describe how I created this spooky Halloween page. I tried a lot of things, sprayed some ink here and smeared some paint there and at the end, this is what it looked like. So, I’m sorry for the lack of instructions this time πŸ™

The main part is the background. I used some Neocolor II and blended them from yellow to purple. Then I added red spray paint from Folk Art on top and edged the borders with black paint. After the paint was dry, I added the Halloween Tree and the bats.

Later I added some white outlines to the bats and some extra words and critters.

The gate is a Tim Holtz die, cut from black paper and dipped in Brushed Pewter Distress Paint. I also added crackle paste on top and adhered it with matte gel.

Supplies Used

I tried to list all the supplies I have used for this page.

I hope you enjoyed my spooky Halloween art journal page πŸ˜›
I know, it’s a little creepy, but that’s mostly the effect of the spray paint (which I think is pretty cool, btw) and all the black little extras.
