So Suzy Stamps 2016

I started with die cutting the white card stock and then adding some texture paste through a brick wall stencil. Now I stamped the sentiment on top of the main panel and put it aside, the paste had to dry. Unfortunately, patience is not really my strength… While I was waiting, I took a separate sheet of paper to stamp this cute fairy with Versamark ink on it and heat embossed her directly afterwards. Then I cut her with my Scan’n’Cut and adhered some vellum to her back.

I actually let the paste dry over night and assembled everything the next morning: the fairy on top of the bricks, a 1/8″ wider black card stock to the back, both popped up onto the card base. As a final touch I had to add some sparkle to the fairy (because what is a fairy without sparkle?!), so I adhered a few star-shaped sequins to the card.
