Thanks to everyone for playing with us!!! It was so much fun πŸ˜€

I’m so excited to welcome you to our first (hopefully annual) Snarkmas Mini Blog Hop. We 4 ladies came together because of our love for snarky stamps and wanted to share it with you! If you arrived from Salima’s blog with her super creative card you are at the right place! You can also start at the beginning with Aimee’s card.

And if celebrating Snarkmas is not enough we have an amazing give away! Suzanne from So Suzy Stamps is sponsoring a $25 gift card. You read that right… $25 for you to splurge on snarky stamps or anything else she has in her shop, woohoo πŸ˜›

To be eligible to win, leave a comment on all 4 blogs by December 12, 12pm PT and we’ll pick a winner the same day. That gives you a few more days to grab some Christmas goodies.

FYI

Just some FYI’s for you that might make your life easier πŸ˜‰

  • So Suzy has free domestic and international shipping for all orders over $25 till December 15th.
  • Stamps in the Retirement section are 30% off till December 15th.
  • So Suzy Stamps has to close the online store starting December 15, 11pm MT for maintenance and updates. She will be back on January 1st with an even better website and more stamps (especially snarky ones πŸ˜‰ ).

But enough talking, let’s get Snarkmas going!

I started by creating the background and I’m super happy that I had my Misti to stamp it twice! Not only was I able to create crisp stripes, I also used it to stamp a third time with Versamark ink.

Now I was able to sprinkle clear embossing powder on top, so the background pops even more (*pop πŸ˜› )
preparing 2

After heat setting the background, I cut it to a smaller piece. I also stamped three of So Suzy’s ornaments with gold Pigment ink.
preparing 3

Because pigment ink needs a moment to dry and I tend to be impatient and start smearing the ink around, I decided to heat emboss the ornaments with clear embossing powder as well. Then I fussy cut them out and adhered vellum to the back, which I also fussy cut.

Now I adhered everything together, added a bow and some twine to the front and prepared the inside. You were probably already wondering where I left my snark… no, not in the parking lot… I just like to surprise people πŸ˜›

I stamped the sentiment to the inside (btw, Suzy will have that back in the store in January) and grabbed some of the leftover background paper as a highlight inside. Now it ties nicely to the front.
