Scary Bookmarks
Hello everyone, I hope you have a spooky day ๐Ÿ™‚

With all the amazing So Suzy Halloween stamps I had a hard time to decide which one to use for today’s Design Team post. At the end I decided for 6 stamps from the new release (all listed at the bottom). I started by cutting two pieces of black card stock (5 3/4″x 1 3/4″). First, I stamped the “Trick or Treat” sentiment using Versamark ink. Then I grabbed the Boo, 31st, and Shade stamp and created a background pattern (I might have CASE’d the idea with the legs from Suzy ๐Ÿ˜‰ ). I used clear embossing powder to keep the pattern in the background. It also looks a little like Ghost slime ๐Ÿ˜‰

Then I stamped the Sorceress and the Demon Wisp on a separate piece of black card stock. For these two, I didn’t use clear embossing powder as I wanted them to stand out. I thought that the Sorceress could need some poisonous green and the Demon some violet from hell. After fuzy cutting them out, I popped them up onto the black tag.

I wanted to add a little more interested to the tag, so I decided to cut two background pieces from an older Graphic 45 paper pad (6″x2″). The edges needed a little Hickory Smoke Distress Ink. I adhered both pieces together and punched a hole to the top using my crop-a-dile. They just needed some twine and the scary bookmarks were finished ๐Ÿ™‚
