How to create planner dividers from Gel Press leftover pages

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen that I bought my first planner. This was one of those trends that I never really understood, but now I got hooked (yay, another crafty hobby – lol). It’s really nice to plan your day with a little color. But because I’m still a messy person at heart, I had to utilize my mixed media techniques for the planner somehow. And then it hit me: I have all these Gel Press leftover pages that are waiting for a good opportunity.

So I started sorting through them and cut them into the same paper size as my planner pages (which is 3.5″ x 7.5″).

Then I punched holes into the pages. The planner series that I have doesn’t own it’s own punch, so I used the We’R’Memory Keepers planner punch, which allows you to adjust the punch holes.

Now I looked through my stamps and grabbed the ones that I thought would fit nicely to the backgrounds. I also have a set of stickers that I bought with my planner. Some of these are rather big and they fit perfectly onto these pages.

Here are the pages that I created. You can click onto the image to enlarge them.

This is one of the stickers. Doesn’t it fit perfectly?

Simple goes a long way. I like these houses at the bottom.

You can also heat emboss the sentiment and images. That makes them pop even more.

But even if you stamp it with black ink it looks great.

I love that my Gel Press leftover pages now have a purpose. I think they are a great add for for my planner. What do you think? Want to give it a try? πŸ˜€

Btw, if you’re interested on how I created the Gel Press pages, just let me know. I’m happy to do a video on that.
