Mixed media art on a card? Yes, please! Featuring Visible Image stamps.
I was in the mood for some mixed media fun, but I didn’t want to create an art journal page or canvas. So I decided to create some mixed media art on a card instead. My new paint addition from a Black Friday sale and some of the Visible Image stamps helped me making my idea a reality.

I started with some texture for the background and added a mix of peach and grey color to it. I never used that color combo, but have seen several great projects from other crafters with it. After I was done with the background, I stamped my two focal images onto tissue paper and adhered them to the now cut down card panels.

The only thing missing was a sentiment, so I used the “creativity” part for the front and the rest for the inside. I heat embossed the sentiment onto black cardstock, distressed it (so it fits to the grungy look of the background) and adhered it to the card.

Do you want to see the process? No worries, I prepared a step-by-step video πŸ™‚

I really like the grey and peach color combo. I probably have to use it more often πŸ˜€
What color combo do you like that you haven’t used in a while or always wanted to try?
