Just recently I ordered the most adorable MFT Christmas stamp set Merry Christmoose. Isn’t that moose just cute? So I had to create a card the is perfect for the most wonderful time of the year.
I started with preparing the background. I cut out a piece of light blue cardstock that I got with one of my Simon Says Card Kits. I used the sentiment from MFT’s Trim the Tree set and stamped with Cornflower. Before I started with the snowflakes, I masked the sentiment with some post it tape. Now I used two of the snowflakes from Snowflake Flurry and stamped them using Versamark ink. I started with the biggest and stamped it in triangles. Now I used the medium sized snowflake and stamped it in between. The smallest snowflake is from “Cool Day”. Now I sprinkled Simon Says Stamp clear embossing powder over it and heat set it.
To create my scene, I stamped the smaller polar bear, the moose, two sheets of ice, and the pole. I colored all of them with Copic markers. This time I really concentrated on the shading for the ice and the polar bear. It’s not that easy to color something that is actually white 🙂
After I was done coloring, I cut all images out and put them in place. All images are adhered with foam tape. And as always I added some Wink of Stella, this time to the ice on the pole, hat, and scarf.
I hope you enjoyed my card for the most wonderful time of the year 🙂
