Ink Blending with the Misti and So Suzy Stamps Ink BitesI’m up at the So Suzy blog today with something that I tried for the first time.

Well, not really for the first time. I saw this technique for ink blending with the Misti at Creativation and I tried it using my Distress Inks, but today I wanted to give it a shot using the So Suzy Stamps Ink Bites.

So I prepared my Mini Misti and inked up small areas of the Butterfly Tree stamp. Because the magnets hold the paper at the same place, I was able to ink one area at a time and stamp exactly at the same position. My stamp had some ink residue on it (yes, I know – you should clean your stamps πŸ˜‰ ), but I thought that it added extra interest to the image.

After I stamped the tree in various colors several times, I rounded my corners, added a green background to it and adhered it to a card base.

At the end, I added a little glitter to some of the butterflies and some Nuvo drops to fill the blank areas around the tree.

I really like how the colors turned out. It looks like wood and nature πŸ˜›
