How About A Haunted House Halloween Card in May?

We have May and it’s time for a Haunted House Halloween Card, correct? I know it’s a little early, but I just got this amazing Haunted House from So Suzy Stamps and had to create something with it 🙂

Btw, I thought that it might be time to create a water mark for my pictures. Looks more professional, doesn’t it? 😉

Anyway, I started with stamping the haunted house using my stamping tool a couple of times to create a crisp, black image. I also added the sentiment using Versafine ink and the “Trick or Treat” stamp from Lawn Fawn’s Trick or Treat set.

To create the shadow I used V20 and V22. I started with the lighter shade and colored all around the house, added the darker purple directly to the border of the house and blended it with the lighter tone. Now I added the glowing windows using Y06 and some clear Wink of Stella.

I needed a little extra, so I added a couple of Sequins from KatScrappiness.com to the top right and bottom left corner. At the end I adhered the white panel to a piece of striped Lawn Fawn paper and added that to a card base.
