A whole bunch of foolishness

Foolishness
Post number 3 for today πŸ˜›

At Creativation I met the a bunch of the old and new So Suzy Stamps design team. We had a blast during these 5 days. One of the ladies, Kymona, always used to say “Foolishness” to our joking around. It was hilarious. Suzanne organized a stamp matching her little verbal outburst and we wanted to surprise her with a few cards using it.

You can find the others here:

My “foolishness” is mixing some stamps together that I usually wouldn’t. Some elegant ones and some cute ones. I started with stamping the new background stamp from Catherine Pooler directly onto the card base. Then I blended the edges with the same ink.

Next, I stamped two cute dragons and colored them with my Prismacolor markers.

Then I stamped the “foolishness stamp” on a scrap piece of paper and adhered it with foam tape to the card base. I added the hugs die and colored it with some sparkle and finally positioned the dragons on the card. I think it turned out great. It definitely makes me smile and I hope that Kymona will love it πŸ˜›

    Awww!!! Absolutely cute!!!

  5. Those baby dragons are really cute and what an interesting idea to blend stamps together that you usually wouldn’t. I like that idea and need to try it. Too often I get stuck thinking I don’t have the ideal background or stamp but that damask stamp worked just fine with the cute dragons. Food for thought.
