I wanted to create a masked scene again, so I started by stamping the first pine cone (btw, aren’t these amazing?!) and covering it with masking paper, all fuzzy cut… πŸ˜‰

I switched between twigs and cones, till I had a scene that I liked. Now I masked the middle part off and stamped the Fairy with a Flower. This way it looks like she is behind the Christmas arrangement.

One of the pine cones had to be a little more dimensional, so I stamped a few to the site and selected one of them to be popped up with foam tape. A few of the areas had some white space left, so I colored these areas with my Zig clean color markers and covered some other areas with the Creme BrΓ»lΓ©e sequins from The Ton.

At the end I adhered the panel to some patterned paper and both to a 4 1/2 x 9 ” sized card base.

And now it’s your turn to hop along with us and check out all the other amazing cards πŸ™‚

This is a really cool card. It suggests Christmas because of the pine boughs but there really is no clear reference to Christmas itself. I like to imagine that the fairy is a flower fairy who is carrying the last fall blossom with her as a memento as she travels through the forest on her way to her winter lodgings.

    Well done.

  4. I love the silhouettes of the fairy.
