My card for day 3 is an elegant Christmas card. Most of my cards are not the elegant type, so I thought that I might want to give it a try πŸ˜›

I started by prepping a piece of black card stock with anti-static powder. Then I heat embossed some of the pine cones in gold and clear. I used Wow for the gold one and a random no-name product for the clear embossing powder.
preparing 1

To highlight the pine cones that I heat embossed with the clear embossing powder, I used Tsukineko Brilliance Pigment ink in Galaxy Gold. I just rubbed it onto the card stock with a make-up sponge and carefully removed the ink from the embossed area.
preparing 2

The pigment ink had to dry for a little, so I started working on the inside of the card. I stamped the sentiment on top (with Versafine), followed by the pine tree twig (with So Suzy ink bites in Happy Hunter) and the So Suzy ornament (with the same gold ink as before).
preparing 3

To add a little more shading to the twigs, I used Zig clean color markers in a different green shade.
preparing 4

Now I prepared the vellum. I stamped one pine cone, heat embossed it in gold and covered it with masking paper. Then I used a different pine cone and stamped it to the left and right of the first one. Again, I heat embossed them in gold. I partially cut a strip from the vellum and fuzzy cut around the pine cones.
preparing 5

After the pigment ink was dry, I wrapped the vellum strip around the main panel and adhered it to the back. I also added some green ribbon to tie it in with the green from the inside. Finally, I adhered the black panel to the card base.

And this is how the inside looks like:
