How to create a starry night light using Deflecto frames

Deflecto starry night light
Hello everyone and surprise πŸ™‚
I’m guest designing for Deflecto Crafts throughout the months of September and October and I couldn’t wait to share my first project with you!

I love their craft storage! It’s unique and genius! Have you seen the Stackable Caddy Organizer (or here on the Deflecto page) with the Stack’n Go Caddy Wheel Base? I have 4 of the organizer and just got the Wheel Base!!! Love it. In case you missed the video from the January Creativation, I won one of the Caddy Organizer at their booth πŸ˜›

Anyway, today I’m sharing a project using the Deflecto Craft Frame and some stained glass paint. I used the September stencil from the StencilGirl stencil club and the pebeo Vitrail paints to create the starry night light. I’ve used these pebeo paints before, but was never really excited about them. ‘Till I had this frame in my hand and everything fell in place. This project is really simple, it just takes time till everything is dry. And there is no way to speed the drying process up πŸ˜‰

But thankfully you can speed up videos and that’s exactly what I did. Let me know if you want to see it in a slower version and I’m happy to upload it again. For now I thought that a 10 minute video might already be enough πŸ˜‰

How exciting was that? Have you ever tried oil paints or stained glass paints before?
I’m definitely super happy with the result and can’t wait to try it again πŸ™‚
