Creativation 2018 is over and I came back with lots of inspiration (and a few goodies). This post is probably going to be a little longer as there is a lot that I’d like to share with you 😉
Let’s start with all the goodies.
One of the biggest booth at Creativation was the one from Ranger. I have a recording from my Facebook live here (the audio is a little low, because I didn’t want to scream over all the conversations that were happening around me):
In this video you also see Emerald Creek and Seth Apter demoing his new embossing powders. This is one of my WOW products from the show. I love Emerald Creek embossing powders, but the 7 new ones are mind blowing!
I have several videos showing them. Let’s start with a demo by Seth:
You can find my demo on the Scrapbooking Forever Facebook page here.
And the review that I recorded a day before I left for Creativation:
I was also demoing the new Catherine Pooler inks at her booth. This was one of the prettiest that I’ve seen! Here’s a quick walk through:
Kymona was helping me with the new Concord & 9th stamps.
Which crafter doesn’t love paper? I found two new to me paper companies that I fell in love with immediately. One was a German company – Alexandra Renke – with the most beautiful watercolor paper.
The other one was Finders Keepers. They had some gorgeous story telling paper. I show it in this video:
Marvy Uchida came out with a new set of drawing pens. Boring? I don’t think so! I’m always on the lookout for a great pen for my art journal page and this one might be it. Stay tuned for a review on those 😀
Paper Artsy introduced new Seth Apter paints and stamps and new stamps from Scrapcosy. Guess who ordered all of them already?!
What else? Tonic introduced quite a few things, but the booth was always full, so I didn’t get a good look on all the new items. Ken Oliver comes out with a galaxy color burst set (whaaat???) and Deflecto introduced new ribbon and washi storage. But what I’m really excited about is their die storage. This is an innovation product, so we have to let them know that we really want it, so they actually produce it!!!
You want to know what I brought back? Here is my suitcase “unboxing”:
Art I’ve seen
People I met
Crafty friends are the best friends. And meeting them in person is even better. Last year I met the most amazing group of girls for the first time and it was so great to see them again. Here are Momma, Justine, Kymona, Suzanne and Jennifer.
Seeing design team members, owners, other artists and chat with them about, well, everything crafting related was great! I can’t wait to see all of them again 😉
Some of the Stamp Junkies
Carolyn Dube made me go low 😀
Suzanne from Quietfire Designs
The amazing Seth Apter
Helen and Mark from Visible Image
Thanks for joining me on my journey. I hope you enjoyed following me along and got some great inspiration yourself 🙂
