Wow, it’s already Winter. Time for cute Christmas decoration, Peppermint Lattes, delicious chocolate and some snow (well, not for me). And to celebrate the upcoming cozy season I’m joining the Coffee Lover Winter Blog Hop with this fun Christmas card.
I started by die-cutting a bunch of pieces from white card stock and the background from this amazing paper pack from Carta Bella. I just love the plaid paper in there!
Red and gold always look gorgeous together, so I used the Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Golden Crystal for the snowflake pattern. The Nuvo paste dries rather quickly, maybe 30 minutes if applied thin.
In the meantime, I was die cutting all the pieces for the coffee mug and the sentiment. I cut the sentiment twice, once from white and the second time from black card stock to create a shadow.
Then I adhere everything together, the coffee cup, the fun scalloped border to the snowflake piece and all on top of the plaid paper and added it to my card base. Super easy and so fun to put together! The coffee cup is amazing, you have so many possibilities with it 🙂
Check out the sparkle on the snowflakes. Isn’t that Nuvo paste just gorgeous?
