It’s September already and the Christmas release from So Suzy Stamps arrived at the perfect time. Now you can get a head start on this year’s Christmas cards πŸ˜›

This release is so versatile and can be used in hundreds of ways. The stamps can be used individually and they can be combined with each other. But see for yourself, the design team has some amazing inspiration for you.

And there is more… There are a few ways for you to save and get some goodies:

But now on to my project. My card is a size 10 card and I based it off of a design that I created for one of my local card classes.

I colored the little squares with Ken Oliver Color Bursts – my favorite way of watercoloring. After I was done adding the powder and water to all three, I heat set them.

Then I stamped the little deers and the pinecone using my Misti as well as the sentiment to the inside of the card. The Misti allowed me to stamp the image onto the same position over and over again, till I had a crisp impression.

At the end I assembled all the layers. The easiest way was to start with the black and the white piece of cardstock. Next I adhered the colored cardstock and the watercolor square together. This allowed me to align the little squares perfectly on the main panel.
