So Suzy Stamps Blowing Snowflake Feature

blowing-snowflakes-feature calendar

Hi and welcome to another fun special for So Suzy Stamps. Today we are highlighting the Blowing Snowflakes and the Blowing Snowflakes Tree stamps. Both incredibly amazing stamps that can be used for all sorts of projects. I was in the mood for a mixed media project and because I just recently got some smaller wooden panels I decided to create a calendar. What is better for the Blowing Snowflake feature from So Suzy Stamps than being a little messy πŸ˜› In case of describing all the steps, I decided to film the process. I couldn’t explain most decisions I …

Leave a Little Sparkle with So Suzy Stamps

leave a little sparkle

The cold months already started, the weather get’s icky and in most parts of the country people are already running around in winter coats. Brrr… In order to keep the winter depression far away, I created a card using the new So Suzy sentiment “Leave a little sparkle wherever you go“. I thought that this works just perfectly for a positive “terrible weather card” πŸ˜› Don’t forget, there is still time to leverage the free shipping for all orders, international and domestic, over $25 (till November 5th) You can start shopping here. I started by spreading my new Nuvo Glimmer …

A Fairy Tale Behind The Rainbow

A Fairy Tale Behind the Rainbow

Welcome to the So Suzy Butterfly Music stamp special. All the Design Team members created stunning cards for this stamp and I hope that you’re going to check out all of them. You might have an idea overload afterwards, but I bet you can channel the energy to create your own amazing card using this stamp. It’s just too gorgeous to pass up πŸ˜‰ I had to pair it with the quote from Hans Christian Andersen. Even though the quote “Where words fail, music speaks” from Hans Christian Andersen is not from one of his fairy tales, I remember some …

Live Like There Is No Midnight – So Suzy Stamps Release

midnight

Hello there! It’s release day over at So Suzy Stamps and we have all sorts of great Fall themed stamps and sentiments. The No Midnight sentiment that I want to highlight today can be used for any occasion though. I started by cutting two pieces of black card stock and sponging white pigment ink through a star stencil. When I want to put ink through a stencil I like using a makeup sponge. Pigment ink needs to dry a little and that’s the reason why I rarely use it πŸ˜‰ After the ink was dry I took one of the …

Not For Easily Scared Readers – Spooky Halloween with So Suzy Stamps

Contagion

Happy Halloween everyone! I’m up on the So Suzy blog and wanted to share a simple but spooky Halloween card with you πŸ™‚ I started by cutting a black piece of card stock and preparing it with the anti-static tool. Then I stamped the Contagion stamp using Versamark ink and sprinkled white embossing powder on top. I use the Michael’s brand and love it! Tipp: to remove the white access from the anti-static tool that is especially visible on black paper, use a regular eraser and carefully “erase” the powder. The card was too black for my liking, so I …

Scary Bookmarks That Might Keep You Up At Night

Scary Bookmarks That Will Keep You up at Night

Hello everyone, I hope you have a spooky day πŸ™‚ With all the amazing So Suzy Halloween stamps I had a hard time to decide which one to use for today’s Design Team post. At the end I decided for 6 stamps from the new release (all listed at the bottom). I started by cutting two pieces of black card stock (5 3/4″x 1 3/4″). First, I stamped the “Trick or Treat” sentiment using Versamark ink. Then I grabbed the Boo, 31st, and Shade stamp and created a background pattern (I might have CASE’d the idea with the legs from …

Creativity is Intelligence Having Fun – An Interactive Card

Creativity is Intelligence Having Fun

Hello there πŸ™‚ I’m up on the So Suzy Blog with some of the September Release stamps πŸ™‚ They are just so pretty and I love all the options you have with them! For this card I used one of the grass stamps to create a little scene and added the “Creativity is intelligence having fun” sentiment and the balloon girl. And to make it even more fun, I created an interactive card. Well, let’s say you can open something. It’s not one of these fancy slider cards with light πŸ˜‰ I started by die cutting a piece of white …
