Catherine Pooler blog hop day 2 – squared foiling

Squared foiling with Catherine Pooler

It’s day two of the Catherine Pooler release blog hop. Have you seen all the amazing projects from day one yet? They are amazing! The second day doesn’t need to hide though πŸ˜‰ My cards for today are a mix of elegance and grunge. I love working with stencils and the new one is awesome. That’s why I wanted to highlight the pattern. I decided to foil the pattern, so I spread the Transfer Gel through the stencil. The first one is covered entirely, the second one just a little bit, because I wanted to create a grungy foil look. …

Catherine Pooler Zen Garden Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the last day of the Zen Garden blog hop. What do you think of all the new inks, stamps and dies? Aren’t they just gorgeous? During today’s blog hop we focus on the Stained Glass Cover Plate and the Faithful Flutterings stamp. My first project is using the larger butterfly and the new Split Chevron stencil from the Zen Garden release. I started by blending Seafoam, Skylight and Stone Blue through the stencil. After I was done, I splattered the same colors all over the card to “mess it up” a little more. Next up, I stamped the …
