Here is how I created my candy corn card. I started by creating the background with this cute bat stencil and Dreamweaver texture paste in black matte. This had to dry, although that particular paste doesn’t need an entire day, thankfully. But I still had enough time to prepare the other pieces of the card. πŸ˜›

I die cut the sentiment “Happy Halloween” from white card stock and carefully blended Squeezed Lemonade and Carved Pumpkin on top. I tried to leave a little white between the two colors so it looks like a candy corn. Now I added two spiderweb sequins to the left and right from the word “Happy”. While that was drying as well, I die cut the cat that is also part of the Cheery Lynn die set and added a lot of Spectrum Noir sparkle to it.

After the texture paste was dry I wrapped the Lawn Fawn Candy Corn twine around the base and added foam tape to the back. I also added some small foam tape pieces to the back of the sentiment. Finally, I adhered everything together and just needed to add some sparkly Kat Scrappiness sequins to the card. A little later I decided to make the cat pop a little more, so I added two tiny Nuvo drops that now look like glowing eyes.
