Let’s Jump with Creative Jumpstart

Let’s Jump with Creative Jumpstart

Welcome to 2019 and an entire year of excitement and creativity. January is starting off with a great treat – Creative Jumpstart, this year with the theme “My Home is My Castle”. The Creative Squad jumps with all the 31 artists (and hopefully you?) and shares their interpretation of the theme. My project is a set of wings that has been laying around for a while now. I thought that it is perfect for my next home decor piece, so I grabbed it and stared at the wings for a while. I rarely work in a size like that and…

Introducing new PaperArtsy stamps from Seth Apter and playing with Fresco Finish Mustard and Cerise

Introducing new PaperArtsy stamps from Seth Apter

Hi everyone, I’m super excited to share this art journal page with you. Not only was I able to play with the new PaperArtsy stamps from Seth Apter but I also experimented with a different mix of colors. But see for yourself. Enjoy 🙂 At the end the page had something magical, even with the more mechanical looking images from Seth’s set. Color can really change how we perceive certain things and it’s so much fun to experiment with that. Supplies Used Close Ups

The last page for my ArtFoamies mini art journal

ArtFoamies the last page

Hello, and welcome back. It’s Josefine and today I’m sharing the last page of my mini art journal with you. I loved this process so much, maybe I need to come up with a new mini journal for you. But for now, here it is. If you haven’t seen the earlier posts, here are the other pages: The journal itself Page 1 Page 2 I started by adhering some Tim Holtz Christmas tissue paper to my page. Even though Christmas is over, those supplies still come in handy. Then I added a variety of ink and paint to the page.…

Creativation 2019 Recap – Are you ready?

Creativation 2019

Have you seen all the videos and pictures from Creativation yet? I know, I haven’t shared much, but others uploaded some amazing insights. It was such a busy weekend for me, now that I participated not only as a Content Creator, but also as a Retailer (yay!). And that was an entirely different experience. I definitely have some exciting news for my shop (makerdeli.com) and I brought back a variety of art and craft supplies. Because it is so much, I broke up the videos to four parts. And if you listen closely, you might hear something about two give…

Warm wishes for the holidays with n*studio

Warm wishes for the holidays with n*studio

Hi everyone, welcome to last month’s post for the Creative Squad. The theme was “Warm Wishes” and while creating my project I had the Holiday season in mind. Can you believe that the 2018 is already over? Where did it go? One good thing about the end of the year though is said holiday season. Time to calm down a little, plus I always enjoy the quiet nights. Those were the inspiration for my December project for the Creative Squad. I used a chipboard tag as my base and covered it in patterns using several ArtFoamies designs from Nathalie and…

Mono printing with Nuvo Aqua Flow pens

Mono printing with Nuvo Aqua Flow pens

Hi everyone and Happy New Year! Let’s start it with some fun and that includes mono printing for me. I was curious about the Nuvo Aqua Flow pens and if you could do more with them, besides coloring images. So I grabbed my petite Gel Press and started coloring that. Here is a quick video showing all the details. What do you think? So many options and it’s so easy. That technique is also great for creating a bunch of blank cards and then add a sentiment later on, once you need a card. Supplies Used Some of my links…
