Always Be Your Own Kind Of Beautiful – Honey Bee Stamps

Honey Bee StampsToday I wanted to share a quick Pinterest card with you. I “pinned” this image a while ago and decided to create a similar card today. I’m using the Stampendous Agapanthus (my old time favorite) and the set Beautiful Life from Honey Bee Stamps. I love the sentiment “always be your own kind of beautiful” from that set and had to use it. In general I really like the scripty font and all the fabulous combinations.

But I started with die cutting all the card stock. Two pieces of white (that were also cut using the stitched rectangles from Lawn Fawn), two pieces of black card stock just 1/4″ wider, and finally the orange card base. Now I covered the white card stock with frog tape and secured it onto my craft mat. I grabbed Abandoned Coral and Fossilized Amber Distress Ink and blended both together. These two colors are by far my favorite from the monthly series last year! They are just perfect for sunsets and such πŸ™‚

With all the stamp sets that one can buy (and that I already own…) the Agapanthus is really one of the prettiest. I have made so many cards with it already and find new ways to use it all the time. Using it in combination with the Honey Bee Stamps Beautiful Life sentiments gives you so many options. If I had to chose what to keep from my stash, these two would be on the top of the list (let’s just hope I never have to πŸ˜‰ )
